Jeffry Wang, MD

I always strive to give our patients the best medical care I can in a friendly and professional way. I truly care about my patients and want to provide a positive and comfortable visit every time.

Education and Continuing Education
I attained my Bachelor of Science degree from Queens University before going on to the University of Western Ontario, where I received my Medical Degree and Family Medicine residency.

In the Practice
What I like most about my patients are their stories. I like to get to know as much as I can about my patients and their families. It’s a unique relationship between doctor and patient, and I consider myself privileged to be a part of that person’s life. If the patient is a child, then I get to bear witness to some of their most formative and important years. It’s a real pleasure to care for the health of our patients, and to hear about their lives throughout the years.

We are very lucky in this practice, because we get to work with an absolutely wonderful team. They have years of experience and its apparent every day as they perform their responsibilities perfectly. Each member of our team loves working with people! From the front office to the treatment rooms, our team works hard each day to make each person comfortable and at ease. They truly care about each individual patient, and they are all a lot of fun to work with! It’s great to work in the same office as my wife, the dentist, Andrea Ho-Fatt Wang. Whether it’s discussing the medical or dental needs of a patient or figuring out who’s driving the kids to a lesson, its all very convenient for everyone.

Family Life
I am a native of Scarborough, Ontario, and have lived in Markham for over eight years. My wife, Andrea, is a dentist in our practice. She and I have two boys, Nathan and Eric and a little girl named Katelyn.

What I love most about family medicine is the diversity of patients I encounter, being able to care for family members across multiple generations and helping patients to lead healthier lives. As a family physician providing continuity of care, it is a privilege and an honour to share in a patient’s life journey.

Education
I completed my undergraduate medical degree and residency in family medicine at the University of Toronto.

In the Practice
Trust, respect and open communication is central to the doctor-patient relationship. I strive to provide this in every patient encounter and hope that patients will reciprocate the same. My goal is to work with patients through a collaborative approach to improve their health.
